Ryan E is a Webelos Cub Scout in the dynamic Pack 580 of Castaic CA. Our pack is very involved in community service projects like “Clean up the Lake!”, “Santa Clarita River Rally”, making care packages for our troops, spreading cheer at senior citizen homes, and “Leave No Trace” litter pick-ups. We work hard and also like to camp, hike and have a great time.
Here are the three main reasons why you should get involved and buy some popcorn!
(1) Your purchase of popcorn is actually a charitable donation to the 100 year old non-profit BSA. Here’s how it works: 70% of the sale goes back to our cub scout pack and our council, Bill Hart District/Western Los Angeles County Council. So your purchase is seventy percent tax-deductible. A smart investment in our future!
(2) Each scout is asked to contribute to the popcorn sales drive because funds from this effort are used to run the scout program and provide badges, patches, belt loops, pins and uniforms. We need your help – boy scouts make the world a nicer place!
(3) A way to thank our troops and help scouts – at the same time! Did you know that you can purchase popcorn and have it sent directly to our troops? Military donations can be bought for $35 or $55 and there is no charge for shipping or handling on military donation orders. Caramel Corn, Cheddar Cheese Corn, and Trail’s End Microwave Popcorn remind our soldiers of the comforts of home. You can put a smile on the face of a hero!
What are you waiting for? Go to trails-end.com and select Ryan E (mothers name is Gloria) from zip code 91384 to support with your purchase. You can enjoy a scrumptious treat – or, Make a military donation and show your American pride. Either way, we thank you for your help!
